The Burnished Generation 

Daniel and David are twin brothers. Their father has become the figure head of Little Henford after his brother, mother and sister-in-law all died within a very short period leaving the farm to him. Both their parents (Uriah and Abigail) are good sims and raised them to take care of each other. Despite their guidance Daniel (and their adopted cousin, Hemman) always bullied David who wasn't afraid to help his mother with "women's work" and "girly chores" He often helped take care of his 3 younger siblings (Silas, Jemmah and Esther). When they became teens, Daniel (a genius and bookworm) and Hemman (an aspiring inventor and child-hater) attended high-school with dreams of attending college together, while David (a neat and sensitive sim) dropped out to help his father on the farm. It wasn't long before Daniel met Elena (daughter of Thorne Bailey) and was instantly attracted. Having become rather arrogant due to his knowledge of one day inheriting his father's wealth he was quick to make a move to claim her as his wife and Elena (being practical) didn't object. Unfortunately Daniel is still young (only 15) and Elena (a slob) who grew up rich in Del Sol Valley doesn't know a thing about running a farm. After becoming pregnant shortly after getting married it becomes clear to her that Daniel has no intention of stepping in to help. Fortunately for her (but not so fortunately for his heart) David has already stepped in to help her where needed.
